HOPE STREET FESTIVAL – Featuring “Mark McGann – In His Life

22nd August 2025, 12:00pm
An Unmissable Beatleweek Experience – Mark McGann Returns to Where It All Began!
Step into the heart of Liverpool’s legendary music scene as Beatleweek Hall-of-Famer Mark McGann brings his brand-new, electrifying production, ‘Mark McGann – In His Life’, to the iconic Everyman Theatre for International Beatleweek 2025!
This isn’t just a show—it’s a homecoming. Mark first became John Lennon on this very stage in 1981 before being personally chosen by Yoko Ono to star in the film John and Yoko – A Love Story. Now, in an all-new, deeply personal production, he takes you on an intimate journey through the Liverpool roots that shaped both his career and his uncanny connection to Lennon himself. Expect powerful storytelling, legendary music, and an unforgettable performance from one of the best in the business.
But that’s not all—this is Beatleweek, and the whole of Hope Street is alive with music! The Everyman Theatre will be buzzing with simultaneous performances across multiple stages, while some of Liverpool’s most legendary watering holes—Ye Cracke Pub and The Philharmonic Dining Rooms—will host live sets throughout the afternoon.
One city. One legend. One unforgettable festival.
