Mad Day Out

Watch our ‘Mad Day Out’ video featuring Beatles Complete

We’re taking you to the seaside as International Beatleweek presents a ‘Mad Day Out’ to New Brighton (Wirral).

The Beatles played in New Brighton many times and so did the Rolling Stones and Little Richard. That indeed is going to be our headline theme for our seaside trip. Join the Cavern Club Beatles, Rocks Off (Rolling Stones tribute) from Sweden and a bone-a-fide Little Richard. Taking over The Floral Pavillion Theatre, Fort Perch Rock and multiple bars and restaurants along New Brighton’s Victoria Street, you can expect to be exported back to the 60s at this traditional seaside town.

There is so much to see and do apart from enjoying the live music from the four stages that will entertain you from 12:00 to 21:00. Visit Chelsea Reach where Paul performed and made a TV documentary in 1973, see the nearby site of New Brighton Tower where The Beatles played.

If that wasn’t enough, Beatleweek-ers can be transported back to 1962 with a visit to The Grosvenor Ballroom in Wallasey Village where the Beatles performed in 1962 and which still has the original stage inside the original building! What a truly historic day it’ll be.

You can choose to add on a return ticket for transport to New Brighton which will conveniently leave from The Adelphi Hotel, or you are welcome to make your own way there via Merseyrail, Ferry or car. Further details of transport options will be made available to ticket holders nearer the time.
